The Omega Seamaster 300m "Beijing 2022 Special Edition" Review

The Omega Seamaster 300m "Beijing 2022 Special Edition" uses a titanium bezel, the bezel is laser-engraved, the bottom layer of the bezel has a granular matte effect, and the digital scale is raised and polished. Before this "Beijing 2022", Omega also used the same titanium bezel on the Nekton Ocean Research Special Edition Seamaster 300m. The bezel has the taste of "yacht", which adds a sense of luxury, which is obviously different from the polished ceramic bezel of the regular replica Omega Seamaster 300 meters.

The dial of the Omega Seamaster 300m "Beijing 2022" is also a ceramic dial with laser-engraved wave pattern decoration. But the difference is that the hippocampus 300 meters "Beijing 2022" has a wavy pattern and a radial sun pattern. The regular version of the hippocampus 300 meters is a mirrored ceramic wave. "Beijing 2022" is a bit more complicated.

The Olympic characteristics of the 300m "Beijing 2022" in the hippocampus are also reflected in two places. First, the time scale on the dial of the watch is red at 2 o’clock, green at 4 o’clock, yellow at 8 o’clock, blue at 10 o’clock, and black at 12 o’clock, which corresponds to the color of the Olympic rings. Some players said that the color time scales corresponding to the Olympic rings have the effect of rainbow color matching/rainbow watch.

The second is on the bottom cover of the watch, engraved with the Beijing 2022, the Olympic Rings and the Beijing Winter Olympics emblem "Winter Dream" logo. Because now the Omega Seamaster series has popularized the new NAIAD LOCK screw-in bottom cover, one of the purposes is to make the bottom covers of all watches neat and uniform, and there will be no situation where the bottom cover patterns are in different directions. Now the bottom cover patterns of the Seamaster are all positive.

Steel case, size 42 mm, the watch uses Omega's own 8800 automatic movement. The 8800 movement is 26 mm in size, has 35 jewel bearings, a swing frequency of 25200, and a power of 55 hours. The upper splint is decorated with Omega’s iconic Arabic Geneva stripes, but the movement cannot be seen because of the dense bottom. The 8800 movement is certified by the Master Chronometer, with an error of 0/+5 seconds, and has a 15,000-gauss anti-magnetic ability.
