Witness The Milestone - TAG Heuer 160th Anniversary Carrera

TAG Heuer launched a special edition of the TAG Heuer 160th Anniversary Carrera series sports chronograph, as the final piece of the three limited edition watches this year, to declare that the brand's 160th anniversary celebration will continue. This watch is equipped with TAG Heuer Calibre Heuer 02 in-house movement and has an amazing 80-hour power reserve.

The TAG Heuer Carrera replica series sports chronograph blue dial model uses a 44 mm polished fine frosted stainless steel case, equipped with a blue ceramic bezel with a tachymeter scale. The blue ring-shaped frosted dial is at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock, with a contrasting white "azurage" chronograph subdial, which records the minutes and hours respectively, and a blue opal moving seconds indicator at 6 o'clock.

The white dial model also uses a sturdy 44 mm polished fine-brushed stainless steel case, and its black ceramic bezel with tachymeter scale contrasts sharply with the silver opal dial. The black "azurage" minute and hour counters at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock make the overall appearance more impactful, and the 6 o'clock position is equipped with a white opal moving seconds indicator.

In these two watches, the rhodium-plated hour markers, hour and minute hands are coated with white SuperLuminova® fluorescent paint, which is clear and easy to read in any light conditions. The dial is decorated with rhodium-plated TAG Heuer logo and printed with the words "CARRERA HEUER 02 80 HOURS". The biggest highlight of the watch is the window at 12 o'clock, with a white background with a red date, to pay tribute to the original Heuer 3147N "Dato 45", the inspiration for the new timepiece. The red date also complements the red lacquered central chronograph second hand and the red line on the counter at 3 o'clock. The curved beveled sapphire crystal provides reliable protection for the dial, and both sides are treated with anti-glare.

"ONE OF 1860" is engraved on the stainless steel screw-in case back of the TAG Heuer Carrera series sports chronograph, demonstrating the special significance of this limited edition. Through the sapphire case back, the unique 160th anniversary oscillating weight of the TAG Heuer Caliber Heuer 02 in-house movement is unobstructed. This chronograph is water resistant to 10 bar (100 meters/330 feet) and is equipped with a stainless steel H-shaped bracelet and a double safety button folding clasp.
